I have been working in/on/around IT for over 22 years. I have worked in finance/banking, small/large companies ranging from Mainframe programming (COBOL/RPG Mainly) through to the latest web technologies.
My tools of choice a varied. I Love working with .NET/C# however I also work with Java, Python, PHP, Javascript, starting with Ruby/Rails too. I love database work, and although most of my working life has been with Relational Databases, I am enjoying working with some noSQL solutions like Couchbase, MongoDB. I also find VoltDB very interesting. NodeJS and some newer technologies are also looking cool too.. many side projects!

I am also enjoying working in the mobile development space. I have been using PhoneGap, Appcelerator, AppMobi and AnscaMobile (great for games dev!). Developing primarily for Android/iPhone of course, however still want to get to try my Silverlight skills with Windows Mobile 7 etc..
